Concrete flat sawing is the most popular diamond cutting method. It is also called Slab Sawing since horizontal installations of concrete are often referred to as "slabs" of concrete. Flat sawing features a diamond blade that is mounted on a walk behind machine requiring one operator. These horizontal surfaces can be slab on grade floors (concrete installed on a stone base), bridge decks, driveways, structural or elevated slabs, and pavement.
Concrete Rigging is securing and putting down large slabs while using the appropriate mechanical equipment.
Wall saws are typically used on vertical surfaces when a new doorway, window or HVAC openings are needed. Wall sawing employs a diamond blade on a track-mounted system that can be used for vertical or horizontal cuts. Wall sawing allows for precise cuts in both concrete and masonry structures.
Wire sawing was created through great advances in diamond application technology. The steel braided wire is impregnated with small cutting diamonds similar to blades and bits used for cutting concrete. The wire is oriented in a looped fashion on the cutting plane. A hydraulic-driven wheel forces the wire through the surface to be cut. The use of pulleys allows the wire to cut any thickness at any angle
We use a variety of handsaws ranging from electric, gas, and hydraulic powered. Primarily used for tight quarters and situations where hand demolition is needed.
Core drilling is used for creating circular openings for plumbing, as well as for structural and electrical installations. Core drill bits are available in diameters from ½" up to 60". Material such as concrete, asphalt, brick, and steel can all be core-drilled.
Decorative saw cutting offers contractors and customers a variety of options for giving concrete aesthetic value. Decorative saw cutting requires the right tools, a commitment to excellence and knowledge of the market and cutting processes.
Over the years our customers have been requesting more full-service concrete demolition. Although a large percentage of our concrete demolition customers ask us for cutting only, we do provide concrete removal and haul off services.
Concrete pour backs refer to filling the holes created after slab sawing, cutting holes, or digging trenches.
Excavation is the act or process of digging and moving material.
